Jan is recognized for her training
and expertise in sales, food styling and design and
floral design which add to her successful presentations
and lectures. She has written and published five cookbooks,
Magic Keys to Cooking, Pumpkin Cooking
with Jan, "A Taste of Fish," A
Taste of Holiday Foods, and A Fare to
Remember which have been sold nationwide. She
is presently working on, Kitchen Talk,
a collection of her favorite holiday menus with recipes.
In addition to a formal education, additional course
studies include Marketing, Business and Management,
certification in Food Styling, Floral Design, and
Color Design. Her culinary training was extensive
and under notable restaurant chefs, (Wolfgang Puck,
Jacques Pepin, Gulliano Bugialli, Biba Cagiano), to
name a few. For a period of 15 years, she was a Product
Representative and Consumer Advisor Coordinator for
the Cuisinart Corporation.
Among some of the professional affiliations in which
Jan is a member include: International Association
of Cooking Professionals (IACP); National Culinary
Federation (NCF); the Orange County Herb Society;
and the Culinary Chef's Association of California
(CCAC).
Jan resides in Orange County, CA with her husband
and three children.
