and Easy Lite Gravy

De-fat pan juices by pouring the
juices and dripping into a bowl; add a few ice cubes.
Chill in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, or
until the fat congeals at the top around the ice cubes.
Discard ice cubes and congealed fat, use a fat-separating
measuring cup.

- INGREDIENTS
4 cups turkey drippings
add chicken broth, if needed to equal 4 c.
1/2 c. instant dissolving flour (Wondra)*
Optional: mushrooms, garlic and onion sautйed in
2 tsps. oil
salt to taste
pepper to taste
parsley, optional
COOKING DIRECTIONS
Combine all in a small saucepan;
stir well. bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to medium and cook 1 minute, stirring
constantly, or until thickened. Serve warm or cool.
Makes 1-1/3 cups.
